Tuesday, September 22nd
Pub crawl
Cheers to PCOGS! Visit some of the best rated pubs in Whistler and toast to the start of the 2026 annual meeting. Combined with a scenic walk around the Whistler village.
Meeting time: 4:45 in the Fairmont Whistler Lobby.
A walking crawl through three Whistler Village pubs, organised within the group. All three sit close together, about half a mile from the hotel. Amsterdam Cafe & Pub 5:15–6:15, Beacon Pub & Eatery 6:15–7:15, then Dubh Linn Gate from 7:15 until closing — the last stop is where people settle in for dinner.
LA Caucus Host: Marc and Ellen Winter
A night-time walk through an illuminated old-growth forest on Cougar Mountain, about ten minutes north of the village. Lit trail, gentle grade, roughly an hour on foot. It is outdoors and after dark — warm layers and closed shoes.

Wednesday, September 23rd
We’ll outfit you in top-quality waders and boots, then lead you along Whistler’s pristine lakes & rivers in pursuit of hard-fighting wild rainbow trout, bull trout, coastal cutthroat trout, and seasonal salmon. And we fish in rain or shine.
Rods, tackle and instruction provided; no experience needed. Dress for the water and bring a warm layer.
Meet at 10:50 am in front of the Fairmont to meet your guide.

Whistler is a downhill mountain biking haven, featuring trails for all skill levels. Experience thrilling terrain and stunning landscapes, perfect for adrenaline junkies.
Bike rentals: Black Diamond
Meet at 10:00 am in the Fairmont Lobby to walk over to the bike rental. Note: you will also need to purchase at 95$ Blackcomb downhill pass.
LA Caucus Host: Jason Roloff
A friendly doubles round robin on three courts, partners rotating each round, finishing with a championship match. All levels welcome — it is social, not competitive. Loaner paddles and balls are provided; just bring court shoes.
Meet at 1pm at the Fairmont Whistler Courts.

Whistler is a stunning destination for hiking enthusiasts. With trails for all levels, hikers can enjoy beautiful scenery, including forests, alpine lakes, and mountain views. Be sure to bring your camera for the breathtaking vistas!
The more demanding of the two group hikes: a real ascent with sustained climbing and a view at the top. Wear proper footwear, bring water and a layer. Guests who want something gentler can peel off to the Lost Lake walk instead (See Friday Hike).

Skip the reservations and dive into Whistler's vibrant lunch scene! This all-inclusive, 4-course progressive meal takes you to four of the village's best-loved local spots.
Meet the guide just inside the sliding doors on the shops level, by the large communal tables on the left. 12:45 pm start.

The easier of the two hikes: a gentle loop around Lost Lake on well-made trail, close to the village and suitable for almost everyone. Wear comfortable shoes and bring water.
