ATTENTION FELLOWS AND RESIDENTS

PRESENTATION OPPORTUNITY

2023 ANNUAL MEETING OF PACIFIC COAST OBSTETRICAL

AND GYNECOLOGICAL SOCIETY

September 6-9, 2023

Sunriver Resort, Sunriver Oregon

 

Ø  Submissions must be original research.  Submissions may not be presented or published, or expect to be presented or published, prior to presentation at the PCOGS annual meeting. 

 

Deadline for submission is May 15, 2023

 

Ø  Manuscript submissions will be judged for the Frank Lynch Memorial Essay, an oral presentation.

Manuscripts only will be considered for the Frank Lynch Memorial Essay.  The winning author will receive a $500 award and will present the paper orally at the meeting.     

 

Ø  Abstract submissions will be judged for possible poster presentations through the Ted Adams Scholarship Award fund. 

Ø  The Top 6 winners will be given time for a 5 minute synopsis at the 2022 Annual Meeting.

Ø  The top resident/fellow poster presentation will be awarded the Charles Kimball Scholarship Award, $500, following the meeting.

   

All submission information should be submitted through the google form.  Abstracts, Manuscripts, and references can be submitted with this link. Abstracts must be written in a structured format. The suggested format is: Objective, Study Design, Results, Conclusion. 12 Font, normal type case, and times new roman preferred.  (One page for Abstracts)  ALL submissions, manuscripts and abstracts, are expected to be prepared for submission for possible publication to the AJOG or journal of the author’s choice.

  

Residents who submit abstracts or manuscripts need not be PCOGS Fellows.  All senior residents and fellows in the West Region are invited to participate. 

 

Ø  Residents/fellows whose work is chosen for presentation are expected to attend the meeting to present their work. 

Ø  As guests of the Board of Directors, a stipend will be provided to cover travel and lodging expenses.

please use normal type case and abstracts need to not be larger than what can fit on an 8.5 x 11 page.  Please make sure to do both steps or your submission will not be eligible for awards.  Word Document preferred.
